About the Range

Thank you for visiting the new online home of the Fort Boreman Rifle Club. The club is located just outside of Parkersburg, WV off State Route 47. Membership in the club is currently limited to 400 members. Access to the club grounds is controlled by an electronic gate and coded keypad. The club caretaker lives on the property and ensures that the property is maintained including mowing, hanging new plywood for the target holders, and making sure that the range continues to look good for our members and their guests.

The main range has target holders and backstops at 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards.  The range is suitable for shotgun and rifle cartridges.  The firing line includes wooden benches under roofed cover, a garage to the left of the line contains stools and other items for use by the members.  The pistol range has two bays, one with standard plywood target holders and the other with steel silhouettes and knock down plates.  Both pistol bays are also under roofed cover and include benches for seating.
